Micro-influencers are creators with between 10,000 to 1,000,000 followers and are considered experts in their respective niches.  With a smaller audience, the followers of micro-influencers often see themselves as peers, rather than fans.  84% of consumers admit they trust recommendations from peers over advertising.  Micro-influencers have high engagement rates which means they're actively advocating for the brands they work with, not just posting something that quickly disappears into their feeds.
